Scope Of Work
Damietta Port Authority intends for dredging & reclamations works for new basin, with approx. dredging quantity )16 ~ 20) million m3 for its port development up to (-17.00 CD) meters under sea water level. And benefit from the reclamation nearby areas with total filling quantity Approx. (14) million m3 for its port development up to Approx. (3.00) meters above sea water level. Then get the reclamation area ready for construction later on by improve the soil property.

The project includes the deepening and filling about 17 million m3 of materials using CSD dredgers which deepen the lake and raising the water level up to about – 3.00 meters CD , thus maintaining the water level through the year as well as preserving the water coming from the drain inside the lake, in addition to the benthic sediment removal and disinfection works.

The project is construction of marine wall of 35 meter depth 1,250 m length with 36x2.5m deck consist of diaphragm wall of 1.20 m width, 668 vertical elements piles of 45 m depth, 334 barrettes of 0.80 m x 2.80 & 35m depth and deck crane railway With a capacity of 60 tons.
